"There's a Grandmother." Oh. A line placed there, to make ya eyes tingle and your heart swell. What better way to encapsulate this show in just a few simple words. I just recently revisted another of Sarah Lancashire's earlier 2000's shows the other day. Rose and Maloney. Just a two part first series so far. She's just as of a force to be reckoned with in that as well. Before Happy Valley you had seen her once before. In a one off supporting role. Sarah was in the series 4 episode 1 of NuWho. Mrs Foster, an intergalactic wet nurse to millions of walking, talking, fat, babies. Aka the Adipose. 🤣
