I get Rachel is just used to this kind of behaviour from him and I think she's implied before that she doesn't like confrontation in general, but especially when it comes to her dad. And while it is sad that she won't stand up for herself, she should at least stand up for her boyfriend. Them ganging up against her was not cool either but it was still funny π Also, I love Gunther!
