Want to something more or new in our games?

Hi,

We started to ask you more and more recently for your opinion for character clothes mostly.
But this time we aim for something bigger!

We would like to hear what would you want to see more, or at all, in our games.

Vote below for options that you like! If something is not in the options, let us know in the comments.🙂

Big fan of your games, and I enjoy your writing as a rule, one thing I'd like is more freedom with the relationship names without feeling like the option to change them was a formality. In starting Lust Theory chapter 3 I wanted to change things up and call Elizabeth Wife and the other two Step Daughter, or Slaves, etc. But the writing around Elizabeth uses the relationship status as both 3rd person reference and title, so you end up saying things like "I need to go check up on Wife." that sounds silly. Also whatever you choose applies to Nicole's milf as well, so it feels like the choice didn't actually matter. Giving the chance to change these choices mid game to see if something else fits better would also be nice.

This poll was made for our Ren'Py games.

Inceton games

More Taboo and less vanilla

Elisa

Character chemistry and ince... that mean something. Characters in your game don't call others by their relation name(mom, sis, aunt etc), instead just use their name.

SouL

Pretty sure this won't mean much, but I greatly dislike things that make the VN more labor intensive. All the extra clicking required during the sex scenes is barely tolerable, and I hate mini-games. All this stuff disrupts the flow and immersion for me. But that's just my opinion on it. I don't have any desire to tell anyone how to create their own art.

As long as we're talking about what we want more of, let me also commend you guys on something you do better than a lot of other creators: dialog that isn't boring. Your dialog tends to be broken up into good, easily digestible portions, interesting and/or entertaining, often funny, etc, which makes it easier to stay interested in reading instead of just clicking through. Keep up the good work in that regard, and especially as your stories get longer and longer this will be increasingly important to keep the interest from dropping off.

Whatever you do, my biggest ask is for a better system to track what choices I've made in a particular game. When you have multiple different games from the same creator, and each game has multiple story paths and choices that are important to the progression of the story, it's annoying to come back to the game after a few months to check out the new chapter that just dropped, be all excited to see what's new, and then realize that I'm not sure which saves have which plot line advancement going on. And even when I've loaded a save, there's still no way to find out which story-line / choices this save is running on. Either that, or you just have to make the games 100% harem-style where it doesn't matter which girls you get with because the story won't have any repercussions and you can just have all of them. Sometimes that's a fun style too, and I do play some games that are like that, but I like the variety of having some games harem-style and others with meaningful choices.

RyGuy

It largely depends on which game we're talking about, and really at this point you guys have so many games it's hard to keep up with all of the different branching story-lines for each game. Personally, I kind of feel like it would be good if each game (or at least some of the games) should have its own specialty in that regard--a mechanic that makes it special and different from the others. The way you've recently done this with LustBound is an excellent example.

RyGuy

I completely agree with your two penn'th. I do feel like more animations or animated transitions would be good though

Vincent Vega

It's a tricky question. The Unreal version of Lust Theory is a big free roam thing, and I think you should separate it - and the upcomming unreal games - from this questionnaire. In VN format, I think, more story choices are a must. Choices that matters and had consequences. Like in Dreams of Desire, your previous decisions significantly influence the outcome.

C. R. Messen

Most of the above are things I'd want less of - Free roam: is acceptable only if done well and actually contributing to the story as long as it doesn't turn into sandbox - Hidden gems (My pet peeve next to sandbox when it comes to game play): totally ruins immersion looking for the hidden pixel - Quick Time Events: Can be ok at specific occassions, if forewarning is given and if it actually contributes to the story, or to give a feel of urgency, but requires there's a consequences of failing - Mini Games: Usually ruins immersion, but can be acceptable if they contribute to the story or to give a feel of urgency, but requires there's a consequences of failing The only things I can see as positive of the above are - More in-game choices (That is what makes it a game and not a kinetic novel) - More phone apps, now this is a maybe. It has to be done well and not force us to open the phone every other render. Well that's my two cents!

DemnorTheSwede

I'd like to be able to access the full version of pictures seen on messages or paper or video tapes, etc. There are many cases where we see a picture on the phone the character is holding, or Naomi's nude in Lust Bound, or Anna's nudes in Thot On Trial, and we don't have access to the full pictures...

Crates Driver

Hmm... A game like Lust Theory suffers from too many choices and side steps, rather than too few, making the game almost unplayable. The story has to remain a coherent whole imo, so use the choice option sparingly.

Mak5025

More tall milfs - and plenty of animations and choices around them.

Rogeroger

The surprises are nice, as long as they're somewhat discoverable. Some of the past hidden items required scrolling over entire scenes to find...unless you had paid for the guide, you likely would miss them.

Hidden Gems

More of Ellie's mom. Especially anal.

In the order I like/want YES 😛!!! MORE!!! 5/5 * More in-game choices * More animations and transitions Alright! Now we're getting somewhere! 4/5 * More free roam options * Hidden gems Ehhh, they're alright... 3/5 * More phone apps * Minigames Why is it in the game? 2/5 * QTE

I like a focus on multiple choices paths/routes and the quality and diversity of animations/graphics. Inceton Games was my gateway into the visual novels genre. But this generation of Inceton kinda feels like their doing too much. I (was) really enjoying Lust bound. It seemed like a "back to form" of VN. Lots of choices that affect the storyline. But after chapter 2 now there's all these stats, good and evil, and the openish world.(Also fuck the teddy bear minigame!!!!! Felt like I was reacting to bullets not bears.)Im still invested in that game but not as much as before. Now I'm waiting to see how or what they do to the next part of undercover with Nora.

Marco Newgate

I like to have more free roam, if you can actually do something at these places, lika a sidequest or open another route of events. Anything which wants me to replay the game to see other outcomings.

MikeLute

Agree wholeheartedly.

playf100

I like the idea of free roam as long as there are repeatable options - not just one and done. I personally have no interest in NTR, Share, or BDSM.. but everyone has their own taste, if you do include them, would like an option to skip or not include.

playf100

more NTR, more Share, more BDSM

rusty

I think it's good if we can have more of a say. Great idea, thanks for that. Quick time events are an invention from hell and should be abolished. I'm old and slow, so get rid of them. I only like minigames if they are well made and optional. They can be entertaining or sometimes annoying. If they're done well, I think they're fine, but I can also live without them. I just played an AVN yesterday where you had to solve a minigame to continue playing and it was so difficult that I almost despaired. If you're going to include such difficult games, you should at least make them optimal. Hidden gems are nice, but I personally don't need them. The same goes for phone apps. You don't need too many. I think more animations and more in-game choices are much more important. I also like free roams if they are done properly. So, that's my opinion.
