Update
Added 2024-06-07 01:46:40 +0000 UTCTaking the promotion and going full time so I could pay off medical bills and afford medicines, was a blessing and a curse. While I now have an income to cover insurance and Rapatha, I never realized that as a manager I could be pulled an hour away to cover for another manager at another location or that I would end up having to work 15 hour days because I was not allowed to fire these useless employees and hire people who would actually do the job. Instead if they 'did not feel it' they would just not show up or bother to call in. meaning I would have to stay or go in and cover. It's been a bad month that I think is over, though if the regional manager calls me again I am going to tell him where to shove it...nicely.
The past couple of days as I decompressed, I have been writing up a storm. So hopefully I can keep teh flow going.
