Secondly if syl created a roleplay profile of syl would that make so that subcore could do almost everything she can do, and if so, if she made that subcore pi (i think that was the name?) do you think they would be upset for the many times they were destroyed over and over and try to attack the real syl?

Dozens of fully autonomous and distinct Syls roaming the world, each capable of exerting her full might at a moment’s notice. Imagine each network has a subcore responsible for constantly facilitating inter-network communications via the shared Core Space. One of them needs more firepower? Transfer a few inactive subcores, additional slime mass, etc. from the other networks! The experience gain will be ridiculous, especially for Core Collective and upgraded Roleplay

Nevermind that rubbing the pearl is a euphemism, with the fact that pearls normally come from clams and similar, referring to a lady's clam is also very suggestive. Makes you wonder where she secreted it from.

They are a slime trying to get a skill so a minor annoyance to get said skill makes sense. Vee is a former human with human sensibilities. It's weird she wants to feed an obsession like this. Not "I hate this character and she is vile" weird but just weird weird.

You can even spin it in a way that Vanessa should deduce her role play and share it with Syl so that Sylvain can become more “independent”.

I can see good arguments both for having her work with Sylvain as a defender and not really tell her anything (and just having her in the background of the story), or tell her everything after getting her to deduce Roleplay and hope they can come to an agreement... Assuming roleplay even needs to be deduced and the Sirens don't already have legends or something about the next skill. Probably depends on how much of a grudge Syl is holding about the mind control thing since that's probably their biggest personal dealbreaker.

To me the merpeople are like those wasps that basically mind control other animals (dont look it up if you arent ready for some real life horror), it's kinda disgusting but it's just part of their life cycle, nature is fucked up sometimes yall. And as an aside humanity has done worse things than any other species fictional or real.

Syl doesn't go out of her way to torment or control people. They generally want to get along before jumping to killing. Vee meanwhile is delighting in seeing portions of syl be used as toys, first with sylbera and now selling off Sylvain to a mind controlling manipulative creature. It used to feel like they were good friends now it feels like vee is just using syl. Even with the ability to regrow body parts, how would you like someone who just seemed to want to keep harvesting portions of you? Again all these relationships seem so abusive to syl.

Having another misfit added to the group can be good fun but the way Vee was playing along with Vanessa's drama was ok for one arc but will get annoying quite quickly if it continues, I believe.

People talk about morality or just hating her and/or Vee by extension, when the MC eat people and genocide species, yes they were monsters, but that's the point, Vee doesn't care because as long Vanessa has Sylvain she is harmless, as long as nobody threaten him she's happy, it's her nature as a monster not different from Syl who loves to eat new things or species. And now it's an avenue to maybe understand evolution madness and help Syl's skills even if she is reluctant. And let's not forget the most important factor, it's fun 😌

As long as she gets chucked into the background of the story and barely ever addressed after this I'm fine with it. If she becomes a mainstay I'm gonna be super annoyed. Yanderes are only fine if their characters are SUPER flushed out (more than any charcter in this story has been), in small doses, or not at all.
