Hey everyone, time for the regular progress report!
Despite my naturally optimistic nature, I have to say the chances of an August release are looking slimmer. I’m still fighting for it, but yeah… it’s becoming less likely. This post will be on the shorter side, as a lot of recent progress has been on the less flashy but still essential side of development. 😔
Let’s kick things off with the numbers:
We’re currently at 16,500 lines in the main story file. With so many characters to follow, there's a ton of potential content, and we're committed to giving each one their time in the spotlight.
On the art side, we hit a bit of a snag. Some newly generated sprites didn’t match well with older sets due to changes in the generation model — even using the GG-LoRA couldn't fully maintain style consistency. This meant updating several older images with the currently used Illustrious model, which kinda spiralled into a broader image overhaul of the character sets on their current strength levels.

⚔️ Combat
Combat has been my primary focus these past two weeks, and I’m happy to report that everything new is now coded, illustrated, and currently undergoing testing! Time for more nightly adventures, meeting new and old foes!
Here’s a quick overview of the fresh content heading your way:
1 new epic boss fight against the Reaper's strongest
Jade joins as a new ally with unique skills and her own class
4 new rare mini bosses with unique rewards
3 new enemy types to challenge
New variants for nearly every existing enemy (including male and possibly growing female variants😁)
6 new story events to discover at the alleys
Fresh combat banter and a number of smaller, combat-related events
And finally two new combat mechanics for the heroines:
🔁 Tag-In System
With Jade joining the lineup, we're introducing the new "tag-in" system!
Now you can swap companions mid-combat, allowing you to adjust tactics on the fly.
Boss giving you trouble? Tag in Stella for devastating flank attacks.
Need someone to dodge a bruiser’s killing blow? Call in Jade for a graceful evasion.
Overwhelmed by enemies? Time to bring in Akari for a massive sweeping strike!
🎭 Gina’s New Class System
Want even more strategic depth? Say hello to Gina’s new class system!
Gina can now earn multiple classes by defeating rare enemies or discovering them in the open world
You can switch her class mid-combat, adjusting her style to match the threat
Both "Swap-In" and "Change Class" share a cooldown, so thoughtful planning and resource management still matter!

With combat fully implemented, the next step is to shift focus to the last batch of story events and dates. Once those are in place, we’ll be able to wrap up this chapter of Gina’s journey.
