Dev-Diary 3

Greetings everyone, I´m back with another rant. First things first. Me being a damn chatterbox already mentioned in Discord that I want to finish my update before the end of July. While I´m horrible with time estimates, I still feel like I´m on the finishing stretch already and a Patron-Release in about 2 weeks could be doable. So let´s make this official by saying it here again!

Now, let´s dive into some details of what I´ve been up to. I´m done with all the writing and proof-reading is in process. So all the scenes are written, but some images are still missing or need editing. The underlying code is also mostly in place, but hasn´t been tested yet.

But the damn dream-scene, I gotta tell you. What I tried creating there went WAY over my skill level, but of course I wouldn´t accept that. So I spent 2 weeks and probably 20-30 hours trying to learn lighting in PS, getting into the Action-Editor in RenPy and then actually "animate" this scene. But it´s finally done now, takes about 15min to play through, so I´m looking forward to welcome you all in the queens tent (hopefully still in July).

But if I ever do a complex scene like that again, I´ll need an artist to partner up. No idea where to find one, but here´s to dreaming (hence to image above)..

Another thing with the art. I originally planed to go for around 10 strength-levels, but only give Gina a new set of images on every second level, as I doubted my ability to create 10 sets of Ginas in distinguishable sizes. But I know many people will be disappointed if they have to wait many months to see Gina grow visibly again, so in the next days I´ll probably try to create some images of Gina Level 3. I have some on her Level 4 already, so I would need to create a "middle-thing". The down-side of having her grow on every level would then maybe be less total levels and more stretched out levels in the end-game, but of course by then we should have 2 more girls in the mix who can grow a bit too. Also creating images is my damn achilles heel, so this might take some time again.. Maybe leave your thoughts on that topic, I read all your comments.

What else is there to say? The next diary is hopefully around the launch. So it might contain some kind of primitive road-map for the future or my bad excuses, if I don´t make it in time. And I´ve got two ideas for Ginas next dream, which I´ll put into writing and present to you guys soon. Of course you can make suggestion too and we´ll let the bosses decide then.
