PSA: Health Update
Added 2021-06-12 03:15:16 +0000 UTCI'm back from my trip to the doctor in Pittsburgh. For the sake of my health, because my BP is constantly high that down the road it will cause me major issues, the endocrinologist has decided it is best to remove both of my adrenal glands. I've already gotten opinions from other doctors about this procedure and basically..if I keep my adrenal glands in (I have Pheochromocytoma), I'm at risk of having a stroke or a heart attack.
Removing both glands means I'll have to take a supplement pill for the hormones that I'll be lacking since I'll be without both of my adrenal glands post operation.
The surgery is scheduled for next month, but in between that time I'll be doing a lot of doctor visits and consultations.
Not happy with how my life is going right now, but I have to deal with the cards I was given.

I'm sorry to hear what you're going through EC, I wish I could help you in some way, but the only thing I can is provide moral support. Here's hoping things get better for you sooner rather then later.
