Black Friday Sale went out on Wednesday, and between Patreon, YouTube, Instagram and Email, we've had 6 total orders using the promo code BLACKFRIDAY for that 15% off.
Is this the time of year where everyone is slammed with sales, so they turn them off in their mind? Should we employ a different strategy next year?

I wouldn't obsess on results especially on what is essentially a new store (if I have been following this correctly). Myself, my brother and a friend started a business on the 22nd and what our marketing advisors are really adamant about is first develop a marketing calendar for the year for sales (some great ideas on here by John Gibson were Ronnie James Dio and Freddy Mercury Day), secondly don't run sales for too long otherwise there is no sense of urgency on the buyers part third use flash sales strategically and not just randomly fourth run campaigns and develop data points that let you determine success based on responses to various ads, lastly be yourself and let your sense of fun come through.

2023-11-27 03:29:01 +0000 UTCThe only shopping I did on Black Friday was at a local sporting goods store, getting fishing gear for an outing on Saturday. Christmas shopping was one of the farthest things from my mind while I was enjoying time with my family over Thanksgiving Day and the weekend.
