Behemoth and Me & That Man ANALYSIS - PATREON EXCLUSIVE

Hello wonderful patrons!

Last year, Elizabeth held an interview with Nergal of Behemoth and M&TM.  However, due to the nature of the content within that interview, we decided not to post it publicly as it is not the type of content our brand promotes.

That said, after much discussion with Elizabeth, we've decided to release it to Patrons only.  Please, do NOT screen record OR release any of this footage, or the interview, or we will be forced to take it down for everyone.

Thank you, and enjoy!

Best,
Kirk

Behemoth and Me & That Man ANALYSIS - PATREON EXCLUSIVE

Hello! A little late to the party, but I joined Patreon today purely for the Nergal interview and the 'Goodbye' reaction, after only just becoming aware you'd even done them. Best £8:50 I ever spent! Thoroughly enjoyed both. Alyssa is amazing on that song! I get that Nergal doesn't exactly fit the PG vibe you wisely adopt on YouTube, but maybe there's an outlet to explore the, erm, 'darker' side of metal here on Patreon...? I'd be there for that! On that note, I've just noticed the Sleep Token 'Vore' reaction too! Off down the rabbit hole I go again...;)

If you wan't to give M&TM another go, you could go for my other favourite on the album "Angel of Light". That is a collab with Myrkur, who is one of the three singers in the Epica song that is in the patreon poll right now. She is actually the only reason why I voted for the song on discord in spite of Epica having been on the channel a few times - in contrast to #metalhurdygurdy, for totally unbiased (cough) comparison.

I actually REALLY enjoyed M&TM. It was such a good sound, and Alissa + Devin being a part of it was super cool.

Thank you so much for this. Behemoth is a great intro to black metal. Behemoth is a bit different in that their newer music is slower than typical BM, less "evil hiss" and Nergal makes much more eye contact with the audience than many black metal bands. I'd recommend "O Father O satan O sun" or "Ora Pro Nobis"
