Can AI replace a lead singer? PATRON LIVE CHAT WEDNESDAY!

Hello all, Kirk here,

Wednesday's live chat topic is the same topic of our next The Singing Hole video: Can AI replace a lead singer?

What are the ethics behind it? The business implications? The positives stemming from it (if there are any)?  I expect this to be an amazing chat!

Hope to see you all there!

Best,
Kirk

AI could easily replace a lot of popular music today. Hooks are formulaic and will be fairly easy for a computer to work out. It will never match a true artist with innovation and profound thought.

Techno music is soulless so it follows

I just attempted to join my first ever TCV Patron chat. Maybe I was too late. Maybe it was my lack of tech skills. Either case, I didn't make it. :( My post chat 2 cents... Technology might get (or maybe even be) good enough to be indistinguishable from human voice. But technology will NEVER have a soul and a spirit. And for me, TRUE singing (or any music or art) must originate from a human soul and spirit!
