Roadmap for 2026
Added 2026-01-01 23:00:07 +0000 UTCHappy New Year everyone!
It was a tumultuous first year as a full-time creator, but I learned so much doing it. Now I want to focus on doing what works best. I'll be outlining major goals and changes discussed in previous posts to centralize the info and solidify it.
Umamusume: Team Spica's Got the Trots - Alts & Tweaks
First of all, Umamusume: Team Spica's Got the Trots released last night just before midnight! As my last audio of 2025, it's the perfect first fap for the Year of the Horse. With that in mind, I would still love to create alt endings for it. I will pursue those in the coming months. I also want to get a handful of retakes to make it the best it can be. It's an audio I am extremely proud of, and want it to age well.
Released Planned for January
Gabriel Dropout: Have a Messy Christmas is set to release January 9th.
Midnight & Mt. Lady Audio is most likely to release after.
Untitled Alice in Wonderland audio. I need that door to get back to me, man.
Building an Audio Backlog
As mentioned, I will be working to build out the audio backlog. The backlog will be produced with audios I feel confident you will enjoy. I have data that shows which audios you've responded to most positively and which have made the biggest impact on listeners, so I will explore similar concepts, or revisit franchises and characters that have proven popular. I'll also make vehicles for my most consistent and reliable acting talent - staple characters, archetypes, and series' they like.
I've already greenlit three projects I believe will be evergreen and appealing to all. With that in mind, I am open to hearing character suggestions in the comments. I have enough ideas to last me, but some of them could be paired with or done with different characters. If you see a character you like included below, be sure to like the comment to let me know you want to see them!
Visual Projects in 2026
Last year, I wanted to produce more motion comics and animatics. Sadly, these projects often fell through.
While Button and I had hoped to produce a comic a month, he is still learning how to work on deadline. We both feel if he has an existing audio to work off of, he can work much faster. To put that theory to the test, and help establish a workflow, I'll be adapting some of my existing works that I feel pushed the boundaries of audio as far as they can go, to the point where visuals would enhance the project... starting with what may be my favorite audio of 2025. Zhu Yuan: A Case of the Runs will be adapted into an audio-visual project! While I hope to graduate to pieces designed with visuals first and foremost (like the planned Bravely Default project), it's clear we need to work smaller and smarter for the time being.
I will stack audio-visual adaptations behind the scenes as CrimsonSFM, the designer of HotRamenAudios.com, works on new security and anti-piracy measures. I would like for those to be completed before I make audio-visual projects a priority. Still, I hope to release Hatsune Miku's Desperation Act on 3/9 this year, and may do so with my site's existing security measures in place.
A More Rigid Pricing Model
Instant Access and All-Access tiers will receive an overhaul... or rather, what content is accessible where is shifting.
First of all, I want to better signify what a tier's value is based on the projects released for them. I'll be emphasizing budget and length when deciding which tier an audio belongs to. This includes commissions. To help indicate, on sight, where an audio lives, I'll be differentiating their thumbnails as well - $5.99 pieces will have flat colored art, often without a background. $10.99 pieces will receive "full treatments" - Backgrounds and shading (if applicable to the art style of the series. Umamusume, for example, has a cel-shaded thumbnail to replicate the art style of the mobile game).
I'll also be re-pricing any paywalled audios I feel belong in a lower or higher tier based on their production value. For the most part, more audios will be brought down to the Instant Access tier than will be moving up to the All-Access tier. This is just a formality, however, to ensure that my pricing model moving forward is reflected on the site.
Lastly, I have de-listed the $1 tier. I saw a lot of people sign up for it, mistakenly believing it would give them access to the website. While it's only $1, I didn't like the idea of people spending money then receiving nothing in return.
Surveys
I'll be putting out a survey to gauge responses to audios released in 2025, with inquiries regarding future content including gas and scat scenarios I haven't explored. Expect that to drop tomorrow.
Resolutions & Thank Yous
This coming year, I want to make HotRamenAudios as self-sustaining as possible. No more scrambling to meet deadlines, no more worrying about where content will come from, and no more relying on unreliable talent.
Last year was fraught with hardships. The anxiety of turning a hobby into a career. Confronting my declining health and curbing unhealthy work habits. Actors and artists not showing up when I needed them to. My family falling apart, and turning to me to help them pick up the pieces financially and emotionally. So much went to waste. At times, I felt like a failure.
But in 2025, I released 44 audios on HotRamenAudios.com. 48 total, including Selina Gets Stalled, Teacher in Trouble, the Emma Frost adaptation, and of course Samus Aran's Diarrhea Attack. That's three-and-a-half hours of content... not including alts, and work on Toilet Girl Game 2. My audios have been listened to 175,500 times on the site alone. I made some of my best work during some of my lowest points in the year. And on a personal note I fostered a lot of great new relationships. I am proud to call some of the VAs and artists I met this year my friends. And I could only do it because I had people who I knew wanted to hear more, enough to pitch in in amounts big and small.
With all I've learned, I believe this year will go much smoother. So sit back, put your headphones in, and look forward to all the steaming hot audios slated for 2026.

2026-01-01 23:39:37 +0000 UTCWith everything you had going on in 2025, much kudos to your resilience and all that you accomplished, even if it may have been hard to see in the moment. I hope 2026 is a more calm year for you! If you can output this level of quality with all of the tumult that happened last year, I can only imagine what you can do if you have less on your plate physically and mentally! All the best, and keep up the amazing work!! 🫂
