Good News + My Audio in MavSharkie's New Animation!
Added 2025-07-24 16:00:22 +0000 UTCGreetings! I don't usually collaborate outside of the page much, but I'm excited to say that I mixed the audio for MavSharkie's latest animation, "Shark Shit Short". For the un-initiated, MavSharkie is a very talented furry SFM animator. While I am not interested in furries much myself, her exaggerated animation style is one I find unique and oddly... compelling, we'll say. It also features moan work by @MamaStrassa (Princess Zelda, Futaba, Juri Han). It's a short-but-sweet piece with a more aggressive, violent, and explosive sound than I usually do, so if you're a fan of hyper diarrhea, I hope you'll give it a watch!
While I have your attention, I also want to say that I appreciate the response to yesterday's post. I was finally about to get in touch with ShennyChwan and she is getting started on the Zhu Yuan alt. While AmeAfterDark will still need time for the weather in her area to settle enough to record, the likelihood of a Zhu Yuan release this month is much better than it was even 24 hours ago. This does go to show just how volatile this operation can be, and why it's often so exhausting. It's a roller coaster of good news and bad news. But when good news occurs it's quite reinvigorating. I am currently seeking ways to offload or streamline some of my responsibilities to increase my productivity, and I hope in doing so that I might be able to focus mostly on writing and editing again. Last month demonstrated how, when I have the time and energy, I can put out far more work than I am currently, and I would love to keep that momentum up moving forward.
For now, I will work to ensure at least one major release drops by the end of the month. I apologize as always for Mr. Ramen's Wild Ride being wild as ever.

2025-07-29 19:57:32 +0000 UTCNot yet. That one has given me a ton of trouble. That said, it's in active production and I am aiming for a release of the audio, and subsequent motion comic with artwork by Pal, on August 31st, Hatsune Miku's birthday. The issue was the audio itself is just very difficult for the VA to perform. Miku has a unique voice, and it requires her to sing while acting out desperation. As I have found more VAs to work with, I've given them all a shot at the role. Some turned it down because they feared that playing Miku was too difficult and they didn't sound like her, while others tried it and discovered the singing part was just too tough for them.
