Poll Result #1

Thank you all for participating in the polls! This was a very exciting one, as it was our first time with both the motion comic poll and the new category seeding. Let's go over the results now!

Monthly Audios: In total, 99 members voted! And between all categories, there was only a 3-5 point difference, which means few members if any skipped out on voting in any one of three categories. I'm glad so many of you found something to vote for.

Solo: @TheVoiceVixxen will make her debut as Frieren in a fart-focused audio!

Couples: It's back-to-back police action Zhu Yuan gets another audio! Only this time with a tender tint and featuring a very lucky Belle instead of a very unlucky Nicole.

I just want to briefly say how proud I am to see Astral Chain of all things at 20%, in second place. Though it's far from my favorite Platinum offering, I sure do love Marie Wentz.

Group: A strong contender from last time, Mai, Momo, and Miwa from Jujutsu Kaisen came back stronger in this month's poll!

I am particularly pleased with the results this time around. Admittedly, none of these ideas are ones that come to me naturally, and all three of them are from shows/games I know little about. But the ideas and tones of each are diverse and their focuses are in different places.

But I imagine most of you are here for the results of the first Motion Comic poll!

I just want to start by saying I feel this poll wasn't handled as well as it should have. Due to its newness, I wanted to make sure all submissions Pal approved of were included, but moving forward I will include far fewer options with detailed summaries instead of too many options with truncated log lines (heh heh). I also want to say this poll was a heated battle between a clear frontrunner, Raven and Starfire having a very messy dump in every receptacle possible, and an underdog - a high concept scenario about a semi-popular turn-based RPG. The sort of thing that polls often become about: A creative new idea VS a tried-and-true favorite.

In the end, Edea Lee and Agnes Oblige from Bravely Default came out ahead by 3%! I am particularly pleased with this, as it's something I could never do with just an audio and I hope it will go to show the potential that having visuals opens up for future projects!

While polls always end with someone losing, I hope those who were disappointed in the outcome will give the winning projects a fair chance. Additionally, I hope no one is discouraged if their idea lost. After all, the JJK audio was a shy-of-the-mark loser last month, and a dominant winner this month. To all those who submit ideas, don't stop! Your creativity, enthusiasm, and willingness to put some part of yourself out there is what keeps me going.
