I get that the streams allow for both a live experience with fans and the creation of a lets play, but it unfortunately comes at the expense of longer series with the more continuous flow of a longer recording session (like the RE2 series or the many sonic game series.) Maybe the streams could be good for fun 1-offs, and pre-recorded streams could be for series?

I’d love to see some themed gaming videos akin to the drunk Mario kart, but I think a sit-down power hour style thing would work well. A big part of why people love your vlogs and mailroom stuff is the dynamic between the two of you on camera. You guys can make any thing or situation funny. I like the idea of taking suggestions from comments and/or patreon and just spending 15-20 minutes goofing off around it. Like seeing who can build an ikea chair the fastest (with sabotage allowed) or 1 on 1 dodgeball. 2024-10-05 12:20:44 +0000 UTCThe dnd show sounds really cool but I'd put that and a variety show at an equal footing, maybe do the dnd show first since its the newest for the channel, the dank souls videos I'd put at the same tier as mail videos and vlogs every once and a while when it feels right or when you guys feel prepared to do so since matt is still sober and they seem like the kind of video to take a toll on you. For gaming in general I'm good with the live streams because I like longer videos to put in the background, and if I really want to watch a let's play I'll watch oney or gg. I'm not the biggest fan of board games but it sounds like a really cool idea and like something Ryan has wanted to do for a while so if that's high on your personal lists you should do it.

But I do think having just ‘a show’ like cold ones or something which doesn’t have a set structure opens the door for things like board games, vlogs and themed gaming videos. Seeing you guys do funny Fiverr orders or go out in LA or play board games all sound really fun, but really whatever it is you do, I think it just needs to be a vessel for you guys to talk and fuck around, maybe even work in some skits like in mail videos or the start of the Sonic 06 let’s play. I voted for vlogs because they're what I miss most from you guys however I like how natural they feel so Idet I'd want like a regularly scheduled thing, just something once in a while if you happen to be hanging out somewhere or get the feeling to do it. I work and can't see it live and feel like I'm looking behind the curtain of Oz before it's chopped up. As a long time viewer it wasn't my bag, not anything against y'all. Suggest you collab again as well since you talked about it recently and I know it's hard working with only a 3 person team but it will be worth it. Vlogs and short IRL bits will bring more engagement as well. Don't over extend yourselves for the sake of content. Sometimes small things have just as much value as doing a big long project. Especially if it brings new eyes. We all love your stuff and want to see you succeed. We just like watching you, don't try to always one up yourself, have fun and do what you love. (Also do The Pacifier for Uncle Sleepover, because thats what I want)

Your editing style combined with your talents for improv and as performers would lend incredibly well to that format. But personally, I think the raw and undpredictable form of vlogging provides you guys with a challenge that always pushes you further beyond. My only problem with any vlog yall have put out is i wish there was more, cause theyre so good. Thats why vlogs gets my vote.

2024-10-05 05:31:48 +0000 UTCI really miss the silly casual-ness of the old vlogs, where you'd literally just go to a 7-Eleven and walk home. There is some sort of weird magic to those, capturing a small slice of time in video and adding some of your comedy charm to it. I'd love to see more of that. The Christmas Tree videos are similar in tone but obviously a lot more to capture, so I'm not sure exactly what locations or situations would work nowadays, but even just walking around an area in LA or going to a park or something could be fun. Not a lot of editing, not a lot of careful crafting, just quick, fun, simple content.

Like the restaurant owner that wouldn't let you hold a food fight in his restaurant, ryan's ranch, ryan magoggles, playing charades in an audio only format, etc. The big sketches are a natural extension of that, but a DND show seems like the perfect place for you to just freestyle stuff like that and I'd love it
