To answer Ryan's question about long-time Patreon supporters and how we're enjoying the Patreon, I love it. It's a great drip of content that's not too much and not too little. I watch the podcast on YouTube because sometimes the ads are funny, which I don't want to miss, but otherwise I watch all the other video content you guys put out here: Uncle Sleepover, uncensored/unedited versions of videos, Q&As, and After Hours. I have no interest in the mixtapes, but I like all the other stuff.

Please check out Escape the Dark Castle! Its my TOP go-to board game with friends and it's quick and easy to pick up with friends. The art is AMAZING and gritty, and it's infinitely replayable with randomizing cards with the expansions! Its a collaborative storytelling/ survival game where the players are prisoners trying to (haha) escape the Dark Castle. You're saturated with dark gothic atmosphere and with a killer original soundtrack too and it looks amazing on camera! Check it out by Themeborne! (Also if you like the Last of Us they've collaborated with Naughty Dog to make The Last of Us board game which I'm STOKED for this Christmas.) PLEEEASE

I've been on the patreon basically since it started, I usually rotate other patreons with a few exceptions including this one. I feel like it's sort of like a second channel where if I exhaust the newest uploads I still have fresh content to enjoy. My favorite perk is the after hours since whenever I finish a really good podcast I want more lol. Uncle sleepover has been a great addition.

I think the Patreon has been great! It’s hard to come up with extra content that isn’t too much or isn’t too little, and you guys have done a great job of giving “extra” without excluding non-patrons too much. This all is more for people who /love/ y’all and wanna support monetarily and see the extra bits that aren’t necessarily as relevant or interesting to the casual/occasional viewers… not holding big content hostage behind a paywall. I’d say just remember that the people wanting to give you money every month are the ones who are genuinely interested in y’all, who really care about you as people, and that simultaneously means that you could post like candid dumbass photos or serious projects and we all here would be sincerely delighted to see both. Also board game wise I think that’ll be really fun! I’m not exactly sure what types of games you’re most interested in or wanting to record, but Codenames and Mysterium are super fun and would be good for videos imo. If you’re not familiar, Codenames is a simple card-based game where you are paired off and essentially have to guess words based on your partner’s clues, without accidentally guessing the words of the other team in the process. It’s super fun for friends like you guys who are really in-tune with the way each other thinks. Really quick set up also and easy to understand/get the hang of. That’s a really basic explanation of it lol but I definitely recommend. Mysterium is sort of similar, but it’s an actual board game and less of a “card game”. It’s been too long since I’ve played for me to give a good explanation, but it was always a fave on board game night in the past lol. The core of the game is based on how well you can explain things to each other and how others interpret what you say. Mansions of Madness and Betrayal of House on the Hill are good too.

matt, the "rumbling" sound you hear when you flex your jaw is most likely you flexing your tensor tympani. its a small muscle in the middle of the ear. some people have control over it like they can make that "thunder rumbling" sound on demand.
