Wanted to share with you all two new previews (and one older preview) of some of the work our character artists have been up to this week!
As you all know, and thanks in part to your input on the previous Art Priorities poll, the character artists are hard at work updating the existing character art to really bring our cast to life according to the vision of the dev team. This has three main implications:
1) We're working especially hard to improve the likeness of characters across all of their various sprites. Along the way, we're taking time to enhance shading and detailing.
2) We're bringing in more varied posing to help us "show" more of the action and increase the dynamic range of the sprites.
3) We're revisiting clothing items, especially ones that we've heard the community think could use more work! These items will all get the full workup to ensure maximum cross-compatibility, both with each other and across the various new character poses.
