Lorka & Hiss'Ire (+ Height Chart)

For the final Dragonborn week I bring you "Lorka Umah the Blood Hunter" & "Hiss'Ire the Belly Dancing, Demon Summoning Bard"

So we'll start with my biggest boi "LORKA"

Lorka is up there as truly one of my fav characters to play, one aspect if him prevents him from holding the top of my list and that is, I caused too many fights at the table with one of my siblings because our characters struggled to get along.

But anyways, here is info on him. Lorka Umah grew up with a regular life as a Dragonborn in a human city. He was a dock worker who moved heavy objects. He had a loving wife and two kids and a baby. His life was flipped upside down when he took a sickly old man into his home during the winter. Lorka was a helpful man like that.

The old man tho turned out to be a viscous Stuhac who murdered and ate Lorka's family in the night and tore half of Lorka's face off too. (It got healed years later in post game stuff)

With a need for revenge and a distrust Lorka joined a monster hunting organization called "The Hallowed Hands" there Lorka learned to wield a blade and made the choice to become a Blood Hunter, (Lore wise, that's when he got hairy, because he became a werewolf dragonborn)

Through the story he sought revenge after the Stuhac, while being an jerk to most and a racist to most humans.

But Lorka learned over years how to let people in again and fell in love again. And he did finally kill the Stuhac in a very dramatic and emotional battle. And his family could finally rest.

And Lorka began the process of healing his hardened heart.

He eventually left the part with the Elf Woman he fell in love with and went to live with her in the beautiful Elven forest and Elven city where he became a valued member of a group of hunters there, while also enjoying his down time in an elven daycare. Where he could fulfill the part of himself who felt as if he had his time as a father cut off. He lived an adventurous life with the elves and was still maintained a friendship with everyone he knew from the Hallowed Hands.

I don't think there is a character I've cried as more than Lorka. He'll always hold a special place in my heart.

Next up Hiss'Ire, Hiss was born different due to his parents being related, on a bordering at the edge of the Dragonborn lands. He had come out of his egg with some deformities and a large birth mark of white scales. But he had also been born with black scales and it was an old dragonborn superstition that a dragonborn hatched with such scales was born evil.

So Hiss started his life an unkempt child living in the basement of his families palace.

his parents had more offspring which all came out pretty, (These ones born of different wives)

Hiss hated his life underground so he'd spy on his siblings, until that lost it's enjoyment because Hiss'Ire's jealousy and hatred grew while watching them. So he started sneaking out and he found he enjoyed the blackmarket, there he learned to use magic, he learned of alcohol and poisons, and he learned how to make magic with Zils (I got my Dm's permission to use zils and i loved them for Hiss.)

Hiss believed if he was seen as evil he'd embrace that. So he learned about demons and how to summon them.

When he had had enough of living in the shadows Hiss decided to confront his family, rising from the shadows with the intention of a hostile take over. So he poised his family except for the one of his father's wives who took care of him. And he was successful, until the guards came and arrested him.. His caretaker ended up dying there on the night of the arrest because she tried to stop the guards from getting to Hiss.

Hiss feeling out of fight accepted his fate and was set for execution which is where the party met him.

The party was unfamiliar wit the lands and one of the black market crime lords hired the party to break Hiss out of his execution to find a mysterious tomb out in the hottest part of the desert. So Hiss was busted out. Playing Hiss was fun, on the journey he learned of friendship and through away that he was born evil. Hiss also prevented certain fights with his magic, which kinda annoyed the DM lol

Hiss really started to be better after he was assassinated by a woman hired by the Dragonborn King (Not Mercury, this is a different universe) And he was immediately resurrected by the party member he had grown the closest to. After that he grew more as a person. Hiss had always thought he was more than alright with dying until it happened and it was cold.

So with new lease on life Hiss helped the party achieve their goals, got stupid rich from the tomb they raided where they had to kill a giant undead dragon who believed himself a god. And Hiss ended up resurrecting his whole family and with the help of the Prince of the lands, waged war on the corrupt King and ended up making the Dragonborn lands a better place.

He's also the owner of a very powerful book that caused his eyes to turn black when he attuned to it XD

After the war he found his friends in the human lands and sticks with his best friend. When his best friend (Who is a tiefling) had kids, Hiss became like the cool uncle.

Hiss'Ire has pretty much become an unkillable mage.
