Yggson & Ratatoskin

For this month’s Yggsmir piece, I’m giving you a look at two new races from the tree, so here’s a concept idea for a Yggson and a Ratatoskin!!

The Yggson, a massive tree creature with a hollow chest, grassy shoulders and four legs, is essentially a tree centaur with room for some little creatures!

The Ratatoskin are a squirrel like race of little geniuses, with a serious lack of morals and love for booms!!💥

Ratatoskin and Yggson are two of four races found on every world in the Yggsmir. Currently the others are humans and Jotnar. Most of the worlds have more races, like the dwarves or the tall, slender, owl-like Alfar.

I’ll probably have to design them a few times as I’m just getting to know them.

It’s been such a crazy productive month for The Yggsmir.

I started with just questions about Ervo and his power set and now I have two more worlds, two story concepts for them and I’m beginning to think more cosmically!

As I mentioned before, I also have an idea for another character inspired by Blare, so I may work on that a bit more in the coming weeks/months… watch this space!!
