The Outlock

The next pic of the month is the Solo Poll winner, which was Blare (an OC of mine - reimagined as an Outlock)!! 😉

Blare was created to be a vaguely Norse style Cambion with deeply unrealistic physical and sexual abilities related to his incubus side. I was later going to reveal that he was actually a self aware NPC in a future VR game that was having the time of its new life.

That project was cancelled however, and now all future characters I make belong to my project, “The Yggsmir”.

Two of the rootworlds on the Yggsmir Treeship are Muspelgard and Niflgard. Blare will be reimagined as new characters on both (more on that soon 😉).

This time I’m working on the Outlocks of Muspelgard.

Muspelgard is a bleached and blighted desert world with few resources. 

It’s the home of the Outlocks, travelling demon hunters who use their enemies powers against them. Wizard cowboys inspired by Geralt, Dante and The Winchesters. 

The regional magic is a mixture of Hexplosive and Hexual sealing… 😏

I’m pretty sure the guns and boots magically create and magically contain antimatter explosions. The gun has a ‘scope’ that projects acceleration circles that help ‘fire’ the magic shell of antimatter. Big booms. Throw in some demon traps and we got fun time!! 😜

I was really in my element on this one, so much so that I ended up taking some of my day off today to finish him off to give him some extra time. I also have a version that fits with the Hot Pink I've been using this month, but also a more naturally coloured one.

You Beasts will have some variants in there as usual, with some different backgrounds, different colour finishes (to really give that ‘Muspelgard’ feel) and transparent “sticker” versions (with different outlines) and of course all of the usual 4K versions of everything, work files, timelapses, palettes etc.
