"Inefficient Condom": Timelapse & .CSP file
Added 2023-12-10 15:18:19 +0000 UTCThis project took a LOT of work, but I recorded about 75h and compiled them into a 1:40h video! :D
Since that's still a lot to watch though, lemme give you some time stamps:
Start: The sketched version is already done here, I start to draw over~ [Check the sketch version in the CSP file if you like~]
(0:15:45: I somehow drew a really good circle :O)
0:33:15: Starting the internal scene
1:07:35: Using Carapace to create a perspective grid to draw the background
1:14:05: Initial attempt at making a shaded internal. Don't do it like this~ :v
1:15:10: using color keys to overpaint the background+internal overlaps. Makes it a lot easier to distinguish lines!
1:19:55: Actual attempt at shading the internal. Easier and looks nicer!
1:30:10: Starting to work on the merged down file with algorithmically generated inbetween frames; Redrawing/Tweaking the inbetween frames
I already made a tutorial video on how I make animations in Clip Studio Paint and the key frame feature, but there is one important ouchy lesson I learned this time:
=> Never EVER use key frames on animation folders (=the folders which generate frames in the timeline)! :,D
If you turn them off to edit your timeline, they get completely fucked. Here's what I do instead: Put your animation folder(s) in a normal folder and do key frames with that folder. This way the key frames act independently from any edits
