Apple recently decided to try and take an additional 30% fee from iOS users. While this won't take effect until November Patreon has been bullied into it by the "bigger guy". Luckily, there is a way to avoid it.

Note This only affects you if you've signed up to any Patreon page using the Patreon app.

In order to avoid this massive (and totally unnecessary fee from a company that's rightfully being sued for stupid decisions just like this as we speak) there is a simple solution.

First, you must cancel your subscriptions to any page you've chosen to subscribe to via the app.

Once you've done that, subscribe back to that page from a computer, tablet - virtually anything except the app. This will allow you to avoid this totally unnecessary and obviously predatory fee from Apple.

I try to stay professional but honestly, fuck Apple at this point.
