Patreon is having issues with payments

Well Shit.

My friend got married this week so I was out of country for a bit celebrating with her- I came back and found that Patreon is having issues with some credit card payments going through successfully.

For me personally almost 500.00 has been declined (so far) this month due to this issue.

The problem seems to be because Patreon recently moved their banking servers to the UK - which can flag transitions as fraudulent. Patreon says they're working to correct this, but I'd like this to cause as little disruption as possible.

Not being paid for a month would suck a little bit. I'm sure you can imagine.

So, If you've noticed your credit card Patreon payment not going through, or you got a message from your bank - you have a few options:

You can update your payment info here: https://patreon.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203913769-How-do-I-update-my-payment-information-

You can change to PayPal which is having no problems.

You can call your bank and confirm the charge is not fraudulent.
