My dear fellow Sickos and Sickettes,
I’m sad to inform you that he Unhinged Tier will be discontinued in the new year. December 2020 will be the last month I’ll be drawing member character suggestions.
As you know, Unhinged tier was created to give a limited number of subscribers the chance to design their own characters. In other words, it is a very cheap commission option. When I created the tier, I naively hoped that members would subscribe to the tier for a couple months and leave their spots to others, ensuring a fair and regular turnover. However, partly because I underpriced the subscription, incumbents seldom left.
Unfortunately, Subscribestar system doesn’t give me enough control over subscriptions to regulate turnover. Thus I’m forced to discontinue the Tier as it is. After December 31 2020, I will no longer draw the characters. Instead, I’ll restart accepting regular commissions, hopefully giving everybody a better chance to get some artwork.
If you are subscribing to Unhinged, please switch to a lower tier before that deadline. As I mentioned above, I don’t have any means to control subscriptions. Anybody subscribing to the Unhinged tier beyond that deadline will be overpaying me.

As of today, I owe some of you character work (even from October). Do not worry, I’ll be doing them whether you continue to subscribe or not. Feel free to switch tiers. If you subscribed to the tier for X months, you’ll get X characters.
I’ll be contacting members separately to make sure everybody gets this message.
