A couple days ago a forum member posted this classic Wonder Woman cover by Brian Bolland in a discussion about Rule 34 images, and I just had to modify/recreate it my way. Here is the result in a few variations. The original image features a giant octopus, but I went for a couple generic tentacle monsters because of the "unrealistic appendages" I added. :)
I occasionally try to get out of my comfort zone and emulate better artists to learn new techniques, and I certainly did learn a lot in this instance. But I also found out my style is very close to Mr Bolland's. A very nice realization.
