*Member Exclusive* A Rotten Crush - Epilogue

Took me a bit, but I wanted to conclude A Rotten Crush, to close out that little cliffhanger at the end. Just under 5k words. Let's see what's in store for the landlord when faced with the nexus of Rot growing in his building.

Review: Rat Rot—A Rotten Crush (Epilogue) One of the longest stories can help to be even longer lol. This story is on my top 3 so that isn’t a complaint at all and an epilogue was one thing that I commented on my review, really a conclusion of any kind, that I would like to see so it makes me happy to have this (an other stuff). Before everything, the title of this post is kind of a lie 👀 in the sense is not a different story (doc) but the actually the same (doc) but with the epilogue add on. That’s truly an interesting decision and I wanted to compare both docs to see what difference they are buuut I don’t have the original one so… There are some that I catch on but that could be my bad memory like there are dates not in all timeskip but in a considerable bunch, I don’t think I need to explain why I like this, and the final comment that NightStalker makes which I’m not that sure, am I crazy? But this stuff is definitely curious and gives this epilogue a feeling that is part of the original story. Returning to the story. I like the 3rd person POV because it gives an ominous feeling to what is happening in a crucial way. With this mood we don’t get to see much of Gus’ emotion, a shame really but it helps the vibes, we take a step back and see things in an objective way; a look into the conception of Clan SpungRot. This ominous mood is effective for the nature of the epilogue in which we tie up the loose ends so this more objective POV helps in this mission also this contrast with the rest of the story. Another good feature is that even with the short size of the story it manages to give us enough of Gus' backstory for his conclusion to be meaningful. His transformation into the dad is also pretty good, it gives new light to the dynamic of the group even if Nester was established as the mom having a dad really establish the family dynamic. Another aspect I like is the way the Rot takes over all and we see a flick of lucidity is very hot; the only problem is that we don’t see Gus with his new corrupted mentality. Nevertheless the story ends with a bomb with the final ritual, a very hot ritual that uses the biggest idea of the story containing the oxymoron of the idea with a bath that cleans the unrotted parts and that solidifies Tommy’s leadership. So simple story that gives that massive story a nice conclusion with a great corrupting family ready for expanding their clan and therefore this storyline in a branch new way.

What'd you guys think of the epilogue?
