My YouTube channel has returned!
Added 2025-04-27 13:14:30 +0000 UTCOut of curiosity before bed, I decided to appeal my channel ban, stating that it's my fault (and it was), that I would like a second chance and would happily delete all infringing content if my channel was re-instated.
And they repealed the ban. My channel returns! :) Funny how I made a super quick Janet animation, and that's perfect as a celebratory new animation to upload!
Whether they took me at my word or didn't notice the content that got me banned to begin with when reviewing my channel, I have deleted almost all of my videos anyway. Only a few old Shorts remain, and I may delete some of those too, in case I think they're too much.
What will I upload there in the future? Will all videos be uploaded there? Absolutely not XD I will slowly upload old videos, as long as they tame, and curate the channel more carefully. I don't know if the channel will last long, if the unban was a mistake, but for now, I'm going to play it safe.
With the channel returned, I will now consider doing a tame series of shorts as a means of promotion for my work. If you're not subscribed on YouTube, please do so. Here's to a new era of Dim Youtube! :)

I am happy for you, but it is sad how YouTube has become much stricter when it comes to infringement and community guidelines. You are better off finding a better alternative than youtube.
