March Drawing Challenge-Community Recap!
Added 2025-04-03 06:38:03 +0000 UTCFor March, the Drawing Club challenge was Bellies! We had some lovely submissions from the community.
First up, Koyshepi with a "HUNKY belly and ROUND belly". Remember bellies come in all sizes! Koyshepi is one of my Tier 3 art students. Love to see you experimenting with different body types, especially with stuff outside of your comfort zone. The hunky belly looks super solid even in sketch form, and in contrast, the round belly looks extra soft!
Finally we have Fenton, with a little mousey belly! Looks like he got into the cheese again. I really appreciate the attention to anatomy and how a creature like a mouse would differ from more humanized shapes. Also love the environmental story telling with the giant cheese wheel- imagine him once he's finished it all!
For my own submission, on MAR10 Day I drew Elephant Mario after too many Elephant Fruits- *BWOMP!*
