2025-10-24 06:51:57 +0000 UTCI've just caught up on your attack on titan reactions this weekend, and I can't believe I'm the only one bringing it up - is the episode audio not SIGNIFICANTLY louder than the microphone? I literally can't hear you over the show when there is any action, music, or dialogue 😕 It has been a consistent problem for me. Could just be because I'm listening through a phone speaker maybe?

2025-10-04 06:14:36 +0000 UTCI think both of these episodes share a very similar theme. In one, Bertholdt admits that despite his moral conflict, his mind feels clear. In the next, Erwin, despite his personal dreams, becomes fully resolved to charge forward. I might be interpreting this too loosely, but I see both moments as examples of characters who, after wrestling with deep inner conflict, arrive at the realization that their duty as soldiers overrode all other concerns. That acceptance gave them a sense of clarity and determination. I’m not a psychologist, so I don’t have the technical vocabulary to map this neatly onto mental frameworks, but if I had to describe it with concepts I already know, I’d call it something like a fight-or-flight–triggered flow state but I don't think that's a very accurate description.
