TV show is not very consistent with characters ages. So you can't really draw any logic conclusions. Most of the characters were aged by about 10 years from what they are in the books. Book Tommen is 6... TV show Tommen is around 15-16, Margaery being 8 years older than him. Obviously in the books they didn't consummated their marriage for Tommen being too young. Also Season 5 diverges from the 5th book (A Dance with Dragons) quite a lot and rest of the show is a complete fan fiction as books are not finished (and likely never will be). So you will need to get use to the fact the show is making less and less sense from now on. Scripts were written by the show runners over few months. Not years - the time it took GRRM to write the original books.
