I would also like to add that it's no coincidence that Erwin asked Nile where his family lived in the previous episode. Which is the east side of wall Rose and the attack (false report) happens to be at the east side of wall Rose. I really think Erwin was hoping Nile would feel more conflicted because of this.

But βwhat would have happened if Erwinβs plan had failed?β He would have been executed. Pure and simple, and he was ready for that gamble. He knew the consequences if the council had done the opposite. And he would have stood by his decisions regardless. He knew that before he even made the play in the first place.

2025-10-12 04:18:37 +0000 UTCIt's absolutely about the ability to command other Titans. The female Titan didn't have the ability to control them, she just screamed really loud which drew their attention. They then proceeded to eat her.
