GRR Martin says most of the names he comes up with are just normal names with a little twist. So "Roose" Bolton was probably actually derived from "Reece"

2025-09-02 10:27:06 +0000 UTCBtw i have never watched these, it is my first time too :P Thanks for the histories and lore because now i understand some things that i didn't before because i never read the books instead of one -the dance of the dragons that is now the house of the dragon series <3 (even tho i watched GOT like 22 times, now it is my 23rd re-watch with you lol), the histories and lore are quite helpful for me as well
