The switch up from being unsure at the start to NEEDING to know how the first season ends is such a good encapsulation of how great the show is.

2025-06-24 22:22:06 +0000 UTCFor some context from the book: because of the actors its not clear in the show that half of the characters are only children: daenerys is only 13 when she marries khal drogo, jon is 15 when he goes to the wall, i believe robb is 16 (which is technically the age of adulthood in the books but still young), sansa is 13 as well and i think joeffrey is too and arya is only 9 years old

Very few Targaryens in the past, and like Daenerys share the blood of the dragon and had resistance to fire… many Targaryen women before gave birth to stillborns that are half human and dragon but a hybrid like this cannot live… so when it is born is dead. The witch was telling the truth.. -.- </3

The other northmen declared Robb as king in the North... and as the dude said: "it was the dragons we bowed to. So why shouldn’t we rule ourselves again?” 🙂 The north was always an independent kingdom for thousands of years before the Targaryens came and ruled for 3 centuries. But since northmen who declared Robb as king in the NORTH, he has a strong claim to be king in the NORTH because it was always an independent kingdom until the Targaryens came to Westeros long ago. :3

2025-06-24 18:02:18 +0000 UTCWhile it's cool that you'll be watching some "extras" for GoT, I think it's very important to be careful of spoilers. Remember, you're only in Season 1 of 8. There are a ton of MAJOR SPOILERS for the show circulating the web, it will be extremely difficult to navigate without ruining things for yourself. I'm speaking from experience here, I've had major things ruined for me in various shows when trying to do exactly what you're doing. I'm honestly not even sure how you'll be able to navigate it unless you have someone prewatch the material for you and essentially vet it/hand deliver whatever you'll be watching.
