2025-09-01 09:22:54 +0000 UTCThis is your welcome to game of thrones episode. I couldn't believe the mad bastard actually did it when I first watched it. Btw don't blame HBO, this is all George RR Martin

2025-08-17 18:46:46 +0000 UTCYours is the first reaction out of the several I have watched that almost exactly mirrors my own first watch. Not like the ones who jump up and run around screaming. I was royally ticked off.

2025-06-30 08:12:12 +0000 UTCDon't blame HBO, they did tremendous work to stay true to the book, where Ned's demise happens even earlier. It needed to happen to give his kids the rock bottom start for their personality development arc.

2025-06-29 10:03:08 +0000 UTCYeah I was going to go with the f*** instead of the screw but reigned it in last second with a consideration of editing for youtube lol

2025-06-25 09:04:32 +0000 UTCI was expecting some Robin Hood style last minute save. Not only because he was such a main character but also because its Sean Bean!

2025-06-25 09:03:56 +0000 UTCYes! now disappointed I didnt use that line myself in the reaction.

2025-06-25 09:02:39 +0000 UTCNot sure what Stu thinks of spoilers like that, but I'd definitely not like to know. Ruins any future tension and issues around that character.

2025-06-25 00:42:05 +0000 UTCI will tell you one character you can get attached to. Do you want at least one for comfort reasons? Lol

2025-06-24 19:58:12 +0000 UTCbtw Stu as long as we don't give spoilers from the show and we never will, is it ok to bring up some facts from the books WHEN necessary? for some unanswered questions for the show, the lore-the book is there to guide us to understand it For example when the witch told Daenerys her baby was monstrous... is that ok? more unanswered questions could come later that kept some people confused until they were answered by the book readers... the whole show is based on the book 100% like arcane and the lore. only the book can clarify some few but super confusing things that might come up later so we can keep on track :3 maybe put a poll about this as well? To hear other's people's opinions on the matter? :)

2025-06-24 18:35:11 +0000 UTCYeah, did I come across as not understanding that? That’s why I said it’s worse position possible as he admits to stuff he didn’t do, breaks his own strong moral code and gets beheaded. The one time he actually tries to save a wider context by breaking his moral code he pays the price dearly.

2025-06-24 18:28:10 +0000 UTCWhen this happened it was a bit of a first of it's kind, killing the narratives mostly main character so early in a show. Now years later many shows have started to do the same, or try to

2025-06-24 18:20:53 +0000 UTCStu, one of the punishments that is essentially equal to "death" in Game of Thrones is being banished (for life) to The Wall, to join The Night's Watch. This is considered a (very small) "mercy." So Ned confessing was done in the hope of being banished, rather than (what actually happens). This would essentially put an end to the war, as there'd be a lot less reason for Robb and the Stark bannermen to seek revenge/march on King's Landing, while also keeping Ned's daughters safe.

2025-06-24 17:47:54 +0000 UTCI was 100% certain he'd get saved or spared last second. Mind-blowing moment on the first watch.
