Hey there! I’m fairly new here, and I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve seen. I came for your TLoU reactions and I’ve stayed for your music reactions. A set of concept albums (the story carries through both albums) I recommend are Apex and Abyss by Unleash the Archers. I wouldn’t place them in the same emotional category as The Black Parade, but the main character has some struggles to work through, and the music kicks ass.

I love the mix of darkness with their unique flavor of defiance against expectations and even a stubborn, bleak optimism despite it all. And of course it's just amazing music and vocals. When I was younger nothing I loved was popular or cool. When MCR came around I was in my early 20s and it was the first time I really felt like something was made for me. It helped me through some very difficult times.

2025-06-06 20:39:10 +0000 UTCoh my good ness my late childhood early teen life...... oh good times .... and i love that the album tells the tale a man with terminal cancer . and ho it follows his journey, from hospital and looking on his life, to a final memory of a black parade he saw as a child and how the Patient is there upon his death, serves as a catalyst for his afterlife journey.
