I think it's kind of hard to analyze his behavior, because you have to keep in mind that he's playing a role to hide his power. You could ask whether he would brag about it if there were no consequences.

2025-05-04 11:38:42 +0000 UTCEpisode 7 is by far my favorite part of the entire show.. It was so well written and logical from multiple perspectives. Also when you said that "she knows that's it" you are kinda understanding it wrong.. When the death note takes control of her and Light specified that she will only focus on doing the suicide in as remote place as possible it's the only thing that she can focus on. So she is quite literally unable to understand or focus on anything else than her destination (also if someone tried to prevent her from doing the suicide she would eventually die to heart attack if she can't kill herself when the 400 second timer runs out). So by specifying how she will die, Light made sure that it's going to be her entire existence until she dies. So that's why she refuses the cellphone and doesn't reply or even acknowledge Light telling to her that he's Kira because that doesn't mean anything to her anymore. It's also Light limit testing the powers of the book at same time and seeing how people react when the book is controlling the victims. Also bonus detail that I think 99% of the readers or people watching this show missed: 400 seconds is 6.66~ minutes Edit: Also yes, the mini TV was thrown in trash together with the crisps/chips bag.. Light probably wanted to get rid of any potential evidence even if it cost him a lot of money which he probably doesn't have too much of as a student even if their family is obviously doing pretty well for themselves with his dad being in high ranking position and Light probably gets rewarded from his well going studies as encouragement.

2025-05-03 21:06:45 +0000 UTCJust a matter of preference at the end of the day. Personally I hate getting spoiled and it can degrade enjoyment of a show for me. Of course, a high quality show will still be good regardless, but I prefer no spoilers given the choice. To each their own.

2025-05-03 00:41:41 +0000 UTCI completely completely disagree with the not watching the intro thing, I have always felt that the creatives who make the OP and ED do so for important tonal and symbology reasons which add depth and in my view "working things out" and "spoilers" really don't matter if a show is actually good. This is I'm aware is a vanishingly minority opinion but i feel quite strongly about this. And have even tested it by deliberately spoiling myself before watching various bits of high quality media. It doesn't matter at all in my opinion.

2025-05-03 00:08:15 +0000 UTCyes, it's the mini-tv in the trash. It's more clear in the manga, but I think it's also pretty clear here. After all, Ryuk says it
