우선 글에 앞서 8월 보상을 마지막으로 제 페이지 운영  종료를 안내드립니다.

8월 말까지 유지되며, 뒤늦게 결제되신 분들은 8월 말에 보상을 받으실 수 있습니다.

이후에는 결제가 진행되지 않게 운영이 내려갈 예정입니다.

제가  실력이 미숙한 탓이 제일 크지만, 리퀘스트 운영 방식에 있어 큰 문제가 있다고 진단했습니다.

최대한 후원자분들의 리퀘스트를 받고자 진행했던 방식이 도리어 후원자 이탈에 한몫했는데,

참여방식도 불편하고 원하는 캐릭이 많이 포함되어있지 않으면 후원이 중단되는 일이 많아서 새로 오신 분들도 금새 이탈하는 등, 지금의 운영방식을 유지해야할 필요성을 느끼지 못해서 다른 방식을 찾아야겠다고 판단했습니다.

그 분들을 계속 붙잡아둘 만큼 매력적인 그림이 아니라는 게 제일 문제겠지요.

결국 기존의 리퀘스트 방식은 폐지하기로 결정했지만, 패트리온을 그만두지 않고 운영 방식을 바꾸더라도 현재 보상을 지급하는 방식에 혼선이 갈 수 있다고 봤습니다.

또, 후원자분들의 개개인별 리퀘스트를 최대한 수용하고자 하는 목표로 운영했지만 그게 정작 후원시스템과는 잘 맞지 않아 다수를 위한 작업활동을 진행한다면 운영 방향성이 완전 전환되는 것이기에 어떤 식으로 전환을 하든 한 번 페이지를 정리하고 갈 필요성이 있다고 판단했습니다.

현재 패트리온 후원 보상을 드리는 방식이 월별 보상이라는 제한이 있어 자유자재로 소재를 다루기 힘들다는 점도 걸림돌인 것 같습니다.

그래서 현재로선 분량이나 시간적 제약이 덜한 검로드에서 작품활동을 하는 게 낫다고 결론내렸습니다.

언제 페이지를 다시 열지는 모르겠지만, 그동안은 검로드나 커미션을 통해 작업을 이어갈 예정입니다.

그동안 부족한 실력과 보상, 불편한 참여방식에도 불구하고 꾸준히 후원해주신 많은 분들에게 다시 한 번 감사를 드립니다.

From upcoming September, our Patreon services will be cancelled. All plans will remain until the end of August, and for those who have paid your fee late, you will receive it near the same period.

After that, our Patreon page will be terminated.

I realized that I am not so skilled enough to meet your demands, and the requests I have been receiving has been overwhelming me lately. 

Also, the request form I adopted actually backfired, making many of my supporters to cancel subscription.

It has been an uncomfortable experience for patrons, and the results were not so satisfying as people wanted various subjects regardless of their popularity. I had to seek other measure to keep this rolling.

Moreover, my works were not so appealing to wide range of people, and that issue has been troubling me for some time.

I came up with the conclusion that without cancelling Patreon, it could confuse people even if I come up with a new plan.

Conflicts arose as the minority investing large amount exerted too much power so that what the majority wanted had been ignored. To resolve this issue, I had to come up with a new plan. 

Monthly rewards couldn't meet the standards for receiving requests as the limitation of subjects had too much influence on each reward. 

From now on, I will be posting my works exclusively on Gumroad. There will be no more regular updates.

I can't guarantee what would happen, but for now, I will be opening commissions and post the rest of my work on Gumroad.
