Biology Class

When the biology class entered the chapter on reproduction, the teacher presented a challenge to the students: find someone willing to be a real-life model for this process. No one really thought anyone would volunteer—until Won-Hoo, without hesitation, raised his hand.

“I’ll do it,” he said with confidence.

That decision changed everything. Since the beginning of the semester, Won-Hoo underwent the procedure set by the teacher, and in no time, he began to feel changes in his body. His pregnancy progressed well—far better than he expected. However, the most surprising part wasn’t just the physical changes but also how his classmates reacted to him.

From the moment Won-Hoo started showing signs of pregnancy, his friends took great care of him. They made sure he ate nutritious food, brought him healthy snacks during breaks, and even helped carry his bag. As his belly grew larger, some friends took turns assisting him up the stairs and arranging cushions on his chair so he could sit more comfortably.

Won-Hoo often joked that he could do everything himself, but he couldn’t deny that their attention made things much easier. Whenever he struggled to bend down to pick something up, there was always a hand reaching it first. Even during physical education class, they willingly took over tasks that required a lot of movement.

However, because of all the extra care he received, the baby he was carrying grew very large. By the last trimester, his belly had expanded much faster than he had anticipated. Now, every step felt heavy, and he often had to support his back with one hand just to stand comfortably. His classmates joked that his baby must be very happy because it had been so well taken care of, and Won-Hoo could only smile helplessly.

Now, at the end of the semester, it was time to complete this journey. Won-Hoo sat in front of the class, his belly significantly enlarged, enduring increasingly strong contractions. His breathing was heavy, his face tense with pain that became more unbearable. One hand clutched his aching waist, while the other gently stroked his taut belly, trying to calm himself amidst the growing discomfort.

His school uniform stretched tightly, especially around his chest and stomach, adjusting to the changes in his body over the past nine months. Beside him, the teacher stood calmly, explaining in detail each stage of the birthing process to the entire class.

And now, the long-awaited moment had arrived. Won-Hoo's body tensed as the contractions grew stronger and more intense. His breath came in short gasps, sweat dripping from his temples. His classmates watched with a mix of concern and overwhelming curiosity. They had been with Won-Hoo throughout this journey, and now, they would witness its conclusion—the moment the baby they had all cared for together would finally be born.
