Proof of Life #307: We're getting there!

So, I’ll try to keep it short, because there’s not a lot to say and I believe there’s one thing people are mainly interested in: the release date for the new update.
So far, so good. I’ve finished the last Haylen scene, added two quite long freeroam events (of which you can see a screenshot above), and I’ve tested everything I’ve added during the last week + added the scene to the reminiscence room and tested that too.
So yeah, I’d say we’re on track for a release this weekend seeing as all that’s left is the extra scene I’ve just started working on (+ a bunch of misc. stuff such as writing the walkthrough and one last playtest). There’s only two characters (Jazon and Haylen) for the scene, nothing too crazy, that means I won’t have to deal with loads of different animations and soundtracks for all the moans.
Still, I don’t want to promise anything I’m not 100% sure I can deliver, so let’s just say a weekend release looks quite likely, and at the latest it’ll be the first half of next week.
I still have no news about the new Haylen portrait, so I can’t say if it’ll be in the game upon release, sorry.
I’ll keep you updated over the next week if anything comes up. Hopefully, I’ll see you all again before next Monday when I post the new release.

I've technically finished everything, but I'm still waiting on commissions from two different artists who told me it should be ready by today but in their timezone, so I guess the update should be out within the next 24 hours.

From an impartial point of view, the only ending in which they could grow up in an environment without fear of repercussions of their parents’ actions would be the revenge ending. But honestly, more than anything, I’m eager to see just how far Haylen has fallen in this update. In my mind, I thought Lily couldn’t sink any lower, but her last side quest genuinely surprised me XD.
