Proof of Life #266: Update 19 definitely coming out this week + a few spoiler-ish GIFs of upcoming animations

So yeah, I've advanced enough with development that I'm quite sure the new update's first release will be out by Thursday. I'm currently working on the 4 freeroams, which will all be some kind of mini-scenes and not just some animation you can randomly stumble upon (there's actually more freeroams, but 2-3 of them are part of Lily's quest, so I'm not counting them). As mentioned in another PoL, there will be 2 for Lily, 1 for Rose, and 1 for Cyanna.
All the gifs above are used in scenes for the upcoming update. Last time I posted gifs, people seemed to appreciate it (as long as I didn't do it too often), but considering it's been over a month , here we are again. The Tavros and Anna-Lisa one is from the extra scene. I don't usually try to promote extra scenes like that, but revenues have dropped, overall bills have increased due to inflation, and since usually less people are interested in side-content, I've decided to make an exception as an incentive for people to pledge or upgrade their pledge.^^ If you don't like it, please let me know.
Another good news is that, after someone suggested it, I've managed to implement a password system to track your dialogue choices for part.1 before starting part.2. That way, an orb in the reminiscence room will generate a password based on your NTR/Revenge/Happy ending choices (the orb is set to appear right after the beach segment) that you will then need to enter when prompted at the beginning of HC3 [part.2] to start with the same values as part.1. That way, they'll remain hidden from you. For those who don't know, the initial plan was to let players type in their own values, which felt pretty immersion-breaking. I believe this is a better solution. Passwords won't be anything complicated, just random short words and HC3/HC2 names to make it easy to remember.

2025-04-03 16:55:47 +0000 UTCEh, it's okay, I'm not dying quite yet or anything^^ I don't think it's the economy but rather the lengthier update cycle because of more content and better quality visuals. Goes to show that, to a certain extent, people do prefer quantity over quality. Still, support has dropped to its lowest level since early/mid 2023 so I've got to slowly revert back to the way I was doing things before ; )

2025-04-01 10:48:35 +0000 UTCI am sorry to hear that income has gone down, but I think it is inevitable because the world economy has not been going through a good time lately (I am from Venezuela and recently the price of the dollar skyrocketed). I don't know if showing the content of the extra scenes will help, but it might, although it would probably help more if they were scenes with main girls. I have no idea if the updates of the extra scenes of Rose and Cyanna generated a little more profit, but maybe a couple of more updates with extra scenes for Rose, Cyanna, Haylen and Lily, maybe motivate people to change their plan to 20$ for the final update, at least that's my plan.
