It’s cool to see your interpretation of the show!! :) btw epi 5 is a mix-up link to another show ^^ SPOILER ramblings (in case anyone hasn’t finished watching): Personally I never thought of ‘different timelines’ even before the reveal of ‘reality’ vs ‘imaginations while heart being stopped’. A do-over of regrets just felt too good to be true to me from the beginning XD We got the details with Doctor Den doing his studies about cardiac arrest experiences and when it mentioned that some patients went back in their memories to fix regrets, that’s what they’re doing imo ^^ Epi 6 was the reality of what had happened + both Great & Tyme being shot, and the first few epis that introduced us to Great and his ‘4 min premonition’ was Great’s imagination while his heart had stopped and he wanted to redo his regrets. In parallel in those first few epis we also got Tonkla’s side of the story which is reality too since his personal experience isn’t part of Great’s imagination (and leads us to him shooting Great later on). That’s also why imo Great is stuck at 11:00 as a point in time his heart stopped and he had until 11:04 until his brain runs out of oxygen while he’s being reanimated, that’s also why he has ‘heart-burn’ in those situations. and when the ‘pls forgive me Great’ message glitched on the tea in his imagination that’s the moment Tyme asked for forgiveness in the hospital in reality (ep 7), so Great heard him in that moment in his imagination. And Dome ‘vanishes’ when leaving the hospital and coming back to his brother Tonkla is because he had already died due to Title… And then start of epi 8 is Tyme’s imagination and fixing his regrets: not reading the diary of his mum, breaking up with his girlfriend on good terms, ‘meet-cute’ with Great instead of approaching him with hidden intentions…then back to reality when he’s called back into his body while being reanimated. I don’t have any deeper explanation, this show just hit the right spot atm for me, I watched it with 0 knowledge going in and enjoyed the ‘problem solving’ the plot offered us and I don’t mind the morally grey charas ^^ (I have pet-peeves and icks that would make me dislike charas more, but they didn’t hit my worst buttons with these charas, so I didn’t mind that they were all ‘hot-mess-grey-charas’ ^^ (personally Korn came closest to hitting my buttons with his switch-up on Tonkla, there was quiet a bit of ‘potential abuser’ in him, I’m glad we didn’t fully go down that route…) I’m curious tho where they want to take a 2nd season? but I’ll let myself be surprised again, apparently they’ll start filming ‘8 Hours’ at the end of the year. Will you consider checking it out the 2. season even with the morally grey setting? ^^ had fun watching along :)
