2022-08-02 14:52:52 +0000 UTCOh god yes. Light on You. This is short, sweet and just amazing. Tae Kyung reminds me a lot of my son who is on the spectrum. So that's why this is my pick this time. Nothing can compare to Nirvana in Fire of course, it is way out of league and the sheer brilliance of the plotting is mind-boggling. The script is amazing. Maybe another time.

2022-08-02 14:14:16 +0000 UTCDreams of Splendor is truly a well-made drama, you will find that unlike other C-dramas, it uses 21:9 aspect ratio, same as movies. And the director likes to use long shots, her scene management skills are amazing. The actings of each actor, not only main leads but also side characters, are excellent. Also the sexual tension between the FL and ML ohhhh my!!! That's what two adults' mature love looks like instead of childish teen love. But what impresses me most is the women power conveyed by this drama, which is rarely seen in C-dramas. Anyway, I really LOVE this show. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! It'd be ok if you won't react to the rest of it in the end, but I hope that you could continue watching it. Don't want anyone to miss this great drama:)
