His knowledge of how the world works and what the Strawhats's image/influence can do is so important. That's why he was so against Luffy fighting Hody and wanted to use that opportunity to show people of FMI that they can change their views too. He thinks about those things while Luffy clearly doesn't.

She was talking about how impatient she was about the Fish Man Island Sweets. Then those other characters started singing about how they're impatient too. So she told them ''If you're as eager as I am then you can wait for the party in my belly.'' then we heard munching noises. π
