It really disturbed me when I first watched, back during the lockdown-pandemic time. I was going through tough times with esp our older son I guess just hitting 30 but always gave me a rough ride on and off while he was growing up. But those circular arguments and the yelling and the getting nowhere~reminded me some of rounds like that in our family. Then our younger son also anyway different in many ways we do not have that wealth etc., but just the interactions and dynamics. In reality though it tears folks apart imo, but watching it now I can be more detached and enjoy your commentary Joe! It keeps me from taking it all too seriously! It's fiction! Really good ep though. Plus things have calmed down a lot. I came from a very volatile family with many verbally quick on the draw and reactionary family members, I was rather quiet in fact. But I sure recognize this! (Actually more from my family growing up) Ooooo Happy Holidays 2024~LOL

It’s so weird that Rory is in her early 20s at this point but acts like a 10 year old. Her grandparents let her live RENT FREE, gave her a whole apartment to herself, and did everything possible for her and she doesn’t even bother to say thank you, show any kind of gratitude, or even say goodbye?… 😭 I used to love Rory when I watched this show as a kid, but watching it back as an adult has given me a completely different perspective on her. She’s extremely self centered, spoiled, and low-key a bad person. Every single time she receives criticism or encounters something that doesn’t automatically go her way, she throws a tantrum or runs away or blames someone else. and it just gets worse as she gets older💀

That Friday Night dinner scene may be the best scene in the series.
