Honestly no that's so cool! I don't think I'll find this one to be nightmare fuel as much, having grown up this'll probably be a blast tbh, people across the pond from you were wayyy more prudish in the 2000's in particular I admire your outlook instead so much more. I have a previously upsetting memory involving the grinch and somebody's chest that I think is going to be like a grenade went off in my brain for a few minutes, honestly I'm pretty hyped lmao. My instinct tells me the Grinch here aged like fine cheese and it's going to be great. But Cat in the Hat is a tossup whether I lose my marbles laughing or summon Thing 1 and Thing 2 back from the grave to haunt my nightmares again over two decades later 🤣 Meanwhile Gene Wilder my beloved 🥳 I think both the Wonkas might be the most fun for me to revisit as a grown adult now, they had a little more going on huh. Will never forget inviting a new friend over from class in 1st grade and putting on "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" before watching her expression fall from hype to withering inside before we even finished the chocolate manufacturing credits 🫠 We never hung out again but OML what a funny memory now. Super fun to realize it's all valid and enjoyable

I genuinely can’t believe it I’ve never had that view on it or anyone I know 😂😂 in the UK he’s literally an Icon, people hire lookalikes for Xmas to come create chaos 😂

No goddamn way LMAO, my parents shielded my eyes then walked out of the theater not too far in, this movie has lived like a scary ghost in the back of my head ever since aaaaa 💀 I was a toddler this'll be such a trip when I can watch it. You're totally right about this particular generation of christmas movies being incredible, we were lucky huh. On a more Grinchy note were you a Johnny Depp & Tim Burton Charlie and the Chocolate Factory girl too?
