I have always felt almost self-deprecating about loving these but I grew up on them too as much as anybody else, and hearing you have so much fun is legitimately healing. Have felt chased out of star wars for a very long time cause I rolled the wrong chromosome on the coin flip but even without that you were so tuned in to what was going on and following this movie so goddamn well I learned some things for the first time that you caught on your very first watch! That's legitimately so cool Natascha OMG, this movie has always been called 'hard to follow' and you are the first person period I've ever seen or heard of who knew exactly what was happening beat by beat that's nuts and so so so cool. Speaks really well of you and I find it genuinely personally healing to see you have so much fun. Glad you enjoyed, the third is going to be so good, do have tissues at the ready and be ready yourself. And whatever happens next remember there is always hope on the horizon (Edit to clean this up a bit I hope I didn't spoil anything :( Overexcited perhaps sorry all ) - Amy B

Padme was only like 11 or 12 when she was elected Queen shortly before the events of Episode 1. The people of Naboo like to elect young people because of their idealistic beliefs. Natalie Portman looks a lot older. The Clone troopers are NOT the stormtroopers from the original trilogy. While they look similar, they are very different. The Clones were cloned from Jango Fett, the Stormtroopers are conscripts from the human population. It is also explained in the Star Wars Rebels tv series( would highly recommend it and the Clone Wars series), the reason for their notoriously bad aim is they can’t see very good with their helmet There are two reasons why Mace Windu( Samuel L. Jackson) has a purple lightsaber. First is the out of universe explanation, that is that Jackson wanted to find himself in the giant battle scene and his favorite color is purple. The in-universe explanation is that all lightsaber crystals( a critical element in creating a lightsaber) start out colorless until it resonates with the Force that makes it known to a particular Jedi while meditating, that it gains it’s color, usually Blue or Green. In extremely rare instances that a lightsaber crystal will emit a purple blade.
