Wow! I didn’t realise how long it had been since I last worked on this. After spending a few hours trying to create a new post, I almost decided to abandon the series. The problem I found was that the way I make images has changed significantly, meaning that when I tried to create a new one, it either looked completely different from the existing ones or just downright terrible.

I then went back and examined the older images, and I wasn’t happy with what I saw. I think the issue is similar to a game of Chinese whispers—each image was made to resemble the one before it, but over time, the changes accumulated, and now David looks like a completely different person.

So, I’ve made a decision. I’m going to redo the images to improve their quality and ensure that David looks consistent throughout. Some of you might be rolling your eyes, wondering, How many times is this story going to be remade? Hopefully, this will be the last time, with a finished story that truly lives up to my original vision.

Starting next week, I will begin re-releasing parts of the story—hopefully five at a time. However, since each image takes 1 to 2 hours to create, some weeks may have fewer if I’m particularly busy. Once we’re caught up, I will continue releasing new parts weekly.

Hopefully, no one is too disappointed by this. I simply couldn’t continue working on it as it was, and my choices were either to fix it or abandon the story entirely.
