Linux
Do this before launch if the download corrupts DMG files - advice from GPT
Extended Attributes / Quarantine Flag: When you download files from the Internet, macOS attaches some extended attributes to the file, including a "quarantine" attribute. This attribute tells Gatekeeper that the file has been downloaded from the Internet and could potentially be harmful. You can remove this attribute using the xattr command-line tool:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /path/to/your/app. However, this should be done by the end user as the quarantine attribute is added during the download.
