Soft Rebranding, future of content, commissions and more

Hey everyone! 👋🏻 I hope you had a lovely weekend and that you've got a good week ahead of you! Just wanted to update you all on the future of TheJarlintheUK.

First off; new PFP! Banners etc! You'll notice I've had a bit of a soft rebrand and I hope you like the new stuff! I'll be honest with you, the union jack just wasn't sitting right with me. Flags are a funny one in my head and post-brexit I just felt a little uncomfortable having such strong "BRITISH" branding. I've leaned more into focusing on the awesome art work by Pepper and going for some nice colours! I hope you like it! 

Next up, audios!

For a long time I've always put most of my audios out for free for everyone. All audios that are currently free will remain free. I had no intention of paywalling content but ultimately it has meant there hasn't been as much  incentive for people to support. In recent months it's seemed more and more possible that I might be able to make my living doing this and as such, I'm going to be taking things much more seriously. Its my intention to move towards a proper posting schedule so you can expect audios on certain days. It will take me a while to get to this point but that's the plan moving forwards! 

So what will change? Well first of all, EVERY supporter of any tier will have access to any and all audio content I put out so nothing will change for you all! For everyone else I have made decisions on what content will be posted where. Which is as follows;

Script fills will always be posted for free on GWA and cross posted to my subreddit.

improvisations and ramblefaps will be split between reddit and patreon. I will figure out at a later time what my exact posting schedule will be. 

OC (original content, so scripts I write myself) will also be split into SFW and NSFW. SFW content will go to YouTube and NSFW to Patreon. 

Commissions that are public will be posted for free as they've already been paid for. 

Speaking of commissions, I currently have one slot left for a batch I will be recording in the next few weeks so if you're after a commission please do let me know! 

New audio series!

I've found that recently what with commissions, life and everything else that I've been posting fewer and fewer script fills. This is sad for me as I've really enjoyed doing them. Unfortunately they just don't perform as well as my rambles, improvs or OC. The main hurdle is that they just take so long to edit! So I'm going to change the way I do script fills - resisting my 'perfectionist' mindset and not focusing on complex SFX and editing. Instead I am simply going to record the words for the script, do as much as I can 'live' and post them! I'm really excited for this as it should allow me to get more content out! 

I'm playing around with names but it will probably be something like "Jarls Table Reads".

Other than that, nothing else will be changing in the meantime! I will still be posting SFW and NSFW pics for your enjoyment.
