Would a Discord channel be helpful?

I wanted to get an idea of what you all thought about having a discord channel for staying in contact, be it for monthly rewards or just general questions. Patreons messaging system is.. very bad..as well all know lmao and id like an easier way to communicate. Gathering refs for those of you in my $30 tier on this janky platform is always a struggle.
The channel wouldn't be anything big, unfortunately I don't have the time to run something like that right now, but would be open to doing critiques and/or redlines at first!
I could also always just do email for monthly rewards and scrap a channel altogether, but I thought it would be nice to have the option for an alternative system!
let me know what you think or if you have other suggestions!
